153 - Strike
Today (Wed 30th Nov) a lot of people affected by the cuts to pensions in the public sector are striking. It's incredible how many people there are marching around the city centre today....

126 - The Rules
This was taken at the Photography course at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. We were on the first floor balcony trying to take some shots of fireworks, but since we were taking turns to get a clear view, I thought I would use the opportunity to follow the rule of photographers...kind of. They say always look up...well, I looked down :)

122 - Midlands Vintage Chic
Today (30th October) Jill Evans Photography, Andy Reeve and I visited the Midlands Vintage Chic wedding fair, for research into my new little venture Doubleyou Weddings & Events. I fell in love with how beautiful the event was, with some exceptionally talented vendors. I am looking forward to joining them next time :)

055 - Is this August?
I know this is a tragically boring picture, but I couldn't believe we'd had such nice weather all day, and THIS is what happened driving home to take my photo for today. So many other of my fellow 366'ers have blogged nice sunny pics from Birmingham - it feels like we're in different cities!

Ok, so it's another sky/building based picture - but my aim was to take todays photo at a different time of day again. This was taken before work this morning, in Brindley Place (more pictures of the Ikon Gallery will be sure to crop up again I'm sure).
