I love Bridgnorth, for the strange shops you can find yourself in. I'm not sure whether this one was the best shop, or the most scary shop, I've ever been in, but it definitely made for an interesting Sunday!

155 - Winter has begun

Tonight I turned my hand at making decorations for Harry's christening next weekend....all in a days work as planner-slash-godparent :)

Today (Wed 30th Nov) a lot of people affected by the cuts to pensions in the public sector are striking. It's incredible how many people there are marching around the city centre today....

We got our new carpet fitted today...I'm so happy with it, it's really quite tragic. Oh well....Happy Christmas to me :)

You won't believe the problems we've had trying to switch from one broadband provider to another....well, you probably will...bit it's all sorted now, and I'm very pleased to be back on-line!

When Steve's curious (and it happens a lot!) the tops of his eyes go flat...I wonder what he made of the camera!?

Paul recently got a promotion at work (Yay!) which means he's working away a lot more than before (Boooo!). It's a rare occasion that I do his ironing...and you can see why....not very good at shirts am I :)
129 - The Coaly Tyne
This was one of the many shots I took of the Quayside, on a lovely weekend spent showing Paul around the sights of Newcastle. I can't believe it was 11 years ago I left this place....it was good to be back - and I finally took those pictures I wanted for my GSCE Art project (a little late eh?!)

OK, so this could be cheating, but it is actually a photograph I took...of a photo of my Grandma's Dad. I'm going to try and touch it up a bit, so watch this space and once I've learnt how to do it (!) I might publish the 'after' shot too!

This was taken at the Photography course at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. We were on the first floor balcony trying to take some shots of fireworks, but since we were taking turns to get a clear view, I thought I would use the opportunity to follow the rule of photographers...kind of. They say always look up...well, I looked down :)

122 - Midlands Vintage Chic
Today (30th October) Jill Evans Photography, Andy Reeve and I visited the Midlands Vintage Chic wedding fair, for research into my new little venture Doubleyou Weddings & Events. I fell in love with how beautiful the event was, with some exceptionally talented vendors. I am looking forward to joining them next time :)

114 - The Viaduct
Ever since I started the 366 project, back in July, I've had my eye on the viaduct at dawn. I still think I can get better ones than this though so watch this space....
113 - Lily Flower Garden
I received a lovely bouquet from a florist I met the other day, The Lily Flower Garden....Gorgeous purple lillies! I'd recommend using them for any occasion!
